  Trump supporters used anti-Trump riots at rallies to effectively brand SJWs as the ones responsible for the attacks. At nearly every rally, there were new reports and videos showing protesters as the ones causing violence. At a rally in San Jose, California, the anti-Trump crowd did the following. Remember, this is just from one rally:

  Protesters set a red Make America Great Again hat on fire (while holding a “We Need Socialism” sign).

  Men cornered a woman wearing a Trump T-shirt and threw eggs and other food in her face, after which they celebrated by waving Mexican flags. [101]

  They burned an American flag.

  They tore up Trump signs and left them on the ground.

  Protesters waving Mexican flags surrounded a car stopped in traffic and jumped on top of it, including one young man holding a Mexican flag.

  They went into the parking garage, surrounded cars trying to leave the rally and blocked their way. [102]

  A police officer was assaulted.

  Some victims were left bleeding on the ground. [103]

  A man chased and tackled a young white male Trump supporter. A Muslim man on Twitter later claimed to be the man in the video. A video released later shows the Trump supporter speaking calmly before he was attacked. The same Muslim man was photographed jumping on the roof of a car.

  Trump hats were stolen off people’s heads.

  A dozen or more Trump supporters were punched. [104]

  As Trump said the next day, “Last night in San Jose we had an amazing, packed crowd. It was a love fest inside, no problems whatsoever.” After the rally, however, “they get accosted by a bunch of thugs burning the American flag . . . And you know what they are, they’re thugs.” [105]

  Meanwhile, Democrats started to worry that violence from anti-Trump crowd, just like the violence from Black Lives Matter, was actually helping Trump get elected. An article from the Left-wing Daily Beast read, “ Americans admire protest movements and civil disobedience, but they draw the line at violence, so harassing and beating up Trump supporters could do him a lot of good.” [106] Just like Alinsky said, a negative pushed hard enough, will become a positive.

  Rule No. 12: The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.

  This rules means not letting the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to a problem. Let’s say your protest garners attention, leading the town council to invite you as a panelist at a community forum. You’d better have a well-thought-out, practical strategy ready to present, and know what you’ll compromise on to still consider it successful.

  Alinsky made a distinction between “realistic radicals” and “rhetorical radicals.” He had little use for the latter, whom he also called “suicidal” radicals. A rhetorical radical is someone so idealistic that they have no hope of effecting change. Although their supporters would deny it, the platforms of Bernie Sanders and the Green Party fall into this category. Alinsky wanted Leftists to work within the system, where change is possible, rather than just bucking the system. In Rules for Radicals he wrote:

  “ The Revolutionary force today . . . are reminiscent of the idealistic early Christians, yet they also urge violence and cry, ‘Burn the system down!’ They have no illusions about the system, but plenty of illusions about the way to change our world. It is to this point that I have written this book.”

  Alinsky cautioned his readers against isolating too many people, and suggested that Left-wing radicals form alliances with “blue collar” and “hard hat” workers even if they had to compromise a little. “If we fail to communicate with them, if we don’t encourage them to form alliances with us,” he wrote, “they will move to the right.”

  For the Left, it’s too late to heed those words now, especially since Bernie pushed Hillary even more to the Left. After seven years of Obamacare and SJW antics, Trump was able to bring those very working and middle class voters over to his side. Working class white Democrats — who had voted for Obama with the same zeal as college students and African-Americans — even started switching to the Republican Party. In Pennsylvania alone, more than 60,000 Democrats switched to the Republican Party ahead of the primaries. [107] It’s not surprising given sky-rocketing health insurance costs and poor jobs reports combined with being constantly attacked for having “white privilege.”

  When Bernie and Trump came on the presidential playing field, Trump tapped into the deep-seated anger that people had over SJW shenanigans, violence against police, the mistreatment of veterans, gun rights and the dangers of radical Islam, especially with refugees entering the United States. The Left thought they could win on an SJW platform — amnesty, refugees, sexism, racism, gay marriage and welfare — but instead they isolated moderates.

  The radical Left also failed by not having a clear solution to any problems. The Green Party’s platform is a great example since it reads like a list of demands issued by a kidnapper, with zero solutions for how to pay for everything. The Green Party wants equal representation of women in Congress, a universal basic income, reparations for slavery, compensation to Hawaiians, access to sex reassignment surgery, to revoke the Congressional charter of the Boy Scouts, free college tuition, forgiveness of all student loans, elimination of military programs like JROTC in schools, better condoms, flexible working schedules, pensions for all workers, day care at every workplace, the release of all prisoners “too old” to be a threat, gun control, permanent border passes for every citizen of Mexico and Canada, dismantling of existing border walls with Mexico, rent control, a reduced-hour work week, and a minimum of one month per year of vacation for everyone.

  In addition, the Green Party says people have the right to “food, housing, medical care, jobs that pay a living wage, education, and support in times of hardship.” They also want free comprehensive lifetime benefits for “dental, vision, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, medication coverage, and hospice and long-term care.” [108] Bernie’s platform was almost as extreme but offered a couple ideas for how to pay for such programs, ideas that were derided as unfeasible even by liberal economists. This is why so many people wondered why Bernie had any support at all, since there was almost no chance he’d be able to push through any his policies.

  Alinsky explained that you have to be willing to make compromises to get some of what you want. By far, the best book I’ve read on this is The Art of the Deal . On the first page Trump says, “Deals are my art form.” He writes about how he loves complicated deals, and details tactics like using leverage and dealing from a position of strength. Even Trump knows that you have to be willing to compromise: “ As hard as I push, in the end I’m practical. If it took making some compromises to get the project moving forward, and the result didn’t undermine the project’s economic viability, I was prepared to make the changes.” [109]

  Be prepared to make small concessions to get the solution. You can lose a few battles but still win the war. As the phrase popularized by Voltaire goes, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.”

  Rule No. 13: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

  SJWs have started to use this tactic a lot the past few years. They pick a person and attack them relentlessly, with the ultimate goal of getting them fired. It’s sad but true, that the reason SJWs go after people is because individuals are more likely to crumble under pressure than institutions.

  One of the most famous examples is Brendan Eich, co-founder of the Mozilla Corp., which developed the Firefox web browser. Eich was promoted to Mozilla’s CEO in March 2014. Then his critics discovered he had donated $1,000 to California Proposition 8, a ballot initiative to ban gay marriage in the state. They were able to rally gay rights activists to harass Eich on Twitter and organized a boycott of the Firefox browser. Just ten days after he was appointed CEO, Eich resigned from the company, issuing a statement on his blog that “ under the present circumstances, I cannot be an effective leader.” [110]

  It seems like things worked out O
K for Eich personally. He was making $779,000 a year when he was Mozilla’s CTO, and he’s already founded a new company. [111] But across America, everyday people have started to fear the wrath of SJWs and how they’ll try to ruin their lives. For those of us who haven’t been making near-seven-figure salaries, that’s a very scary thought. It’s even worse in Europe, where people are being arrested for “promoting hatred.” [112]

  For example, the Dutch Far-Right politician Geert Wilders, founder and leader of the Dutch Party for Freedom, is on trial in the Netherlands (again) for allegedly inciting hatred against Moroccans in the country. His sin was referring to them as “scum” on TV and for — when people chanted they wanted “Fewer!” Moroccans in the country — replying, “We'll take care of that.” Wilders was acquitted in a 2011 case, brought about after he equated the Koran with Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf , said Muslim criminals should be deported, and called for a “towel-head” tax. The judge only let him off because his comments targeted a religion rather than a race. [113]

  French Far-Right leader Marine Le Pen, the head of the National Front party, was acquitted of charges of inciting religious hatred against Muslims. The alleged crime? Comparing Muslims praying in the street to the German occupation of France during World War II. [114]

  There are countless examples of others who have been targeted in the same manner, many who are not politicians and have few resources to defend themselves. SJWs hope the draconian rules against free speech in Europe will soon come to the U.S. Even U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, while speaking at a Muslim Advocate’s dinner a day after the terrorist attack in San Bernardino, California, vowed to prosecute anti-Muslim speech. “When we talk about the First amendment we [must] make it clear that actions predicated on violent talk are not American,” she said. “They are not who we are, they are not what we do, and they will be prosecuted.” In the same speech she said her “greatest fear” was not terrorist attacks, or any number of violent crimes a sane person would be most fearful of, but the “incredibly disturbing rise of anti-Muslim rhetoric.” [115]

  At Claremont McKenna College (CMC) in Claremont, California, Assistant Vice President and Dean of Students Mary Spellman was made a target by SJWs. Back in April 2015, a group of self-described “students of color” sent a list of demands to the college’s president, Hiram E. Chodosh . These included a Diversity Chair, institutional funding for multicultural clubs, a resource center for students of color, greater diversity in faculty and staff, a mentoring program for first-year students of color, yearly sensitivity trainings on Islamophobia, mandatory and periodic racial sensitivity trainings for all professors, improved diversity in speakers, and annual surveys on the climate of race and ethnicity at CMC. [116]

  Nothing happened with their list of demands. But then in October 2015, a female student named Lisette Espinosa wrote an op-ed in a student newspaper, detailing how once she entered college she realized she had been taught to be ashamed of her working class, Mexican immigrant family. She talked about how her family and community were “dehumanized” and didn’t get the “respect they deserved” in society. Remember, these are all things completely unrelated to the school. She said felt her family would fit in better with the working class staff at CMC, where tuition costs more than $49,000 a year, [117] as if her feelings are somehow the college’s fault. She said she felt like she “was admitted to fill a racial quota.” She referred to the school as being “predominantly-white” even though the school’s fact sheet says it’s only 42 percent white. [118] Espinosa also said she was “a proud Chicana.” [119]

  Espinosa emailed her op-ed to Dean Spellman, who replied:

  Thank you for writing and sharing this article with me. We have a lot to do as a college and community. Would you be willing to talk with me sometime about these issues? They are important to me and the DOS staff and we are working on how we can better serve students, especially those who don’t fit our CMC mold.

  I would love to talk with you more.

  Dean Spellman” [120]

  So did Espinosa take the dean up on her offer to meet and talk about her concerns? Were students of color happy that she admitted there was work to be done and wanted to hear more about their issues? Not a chance. What Espinosa did, however, was take a screenshot of the email and circulated it among her peers. The “controversial email” led to calls for Dean Spellman’s resignation and two students went on a hunger strike. Spellman apologized multiple times for her poor choice of words about students who don’t fit the “CMC mold,” which for all we know based on Espinosa’s op-ed, could have been referring to income rather than race.

  Meanwhile, two white girls posted a Halloween photo in which they were wearing sombreros, causing further outrage. Finally, Spellman resigned and the school issued a list of diversity initiatives it would start. The junior class president also resigned — she was in the sombrero photo, but her costume was as a back-up dancer for pop star Justin Bieber’s video “Sorry.” Apparently the “Sorry” sign she was holding (mimicking the dancers in the music video) was somehow offensive too. As commenters on one article noted, the whole charade read like something from the humor news site The Onion . [121]

  A horrific example of an everyday person who was targeted by SJWs was college student Ashley Rae Goldenberg, who uses the blogging site Tumblr under the screen name “CommunismKills.” [122] After the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, she posted a limerick about the shooting and subsequent riots: “There once was a thug named Brown / Who bum-rushed a cop with a frown / Six bullets later / He met his creator / Then his homies burnt down the town.” In response, two SJWs bloggers posted her name and address online and encouraged people to burn down her house. [123]

  In Internet slang this is called doxxing — publicly publishing a person’s real name, address, phone number, perhaps even their place of work and boss’ phone number so SJW comrades can call to demand the person be fired. In Ashley’s case, the doxxers also posted her parents’ home address, her phone number, her Facebook page (meaning people had access to the photos and personal information on the account), her mother’s Facebook page, her work information, her mother’s work information, and Ashley’s school information. SJWs sent her death threats, threatened to murder her, and contacted her university to try to get her expelled. Others called for her mother to be raped, burned, tortured or murdered. [124]

  All of this was done by people who claim to be motivated by “social justice” and “progress.”

  Notice that in most of these examples it wasn’t organizations that were targeted, but specific people. Targeting a person is best, because then they can be polarized, which involves isolating the target. When someone is accused of “racism” or “transphobia,” for example, most of their colleagues become so fearful for their own jobs that they won’t stick up for them. When you isolate someone from all sympathetic sources it also serves to further demoralize them. And when others see the target will not be a person rather than an organization, people become scared into silence. This tactic not only silences the target but discourages others from speaking out in the future.

  Polarization can also be used effectively with a group. Alinsky gives an example involving boycotting businesses. He says don’t try to organize a boycott of all downtown shops for Christmas shopping (who would actually follow through with that?). Instead, simply picket in front of one. People will avoid it and spend their money elsewhere. Then the boycotted store will work to rally all of the other shop owners to give in to the Leftists’ demands.

  Conclusion: The Left Is Losing — Keep Fighting

  You’ve now seen a lot of examples of SJWs and their tactics of intimidation and persecution. Actions like these are the reason so many people are now convinced the radical Leftists are actual fascists who want to silence — and even kill — those who stray from the party line. Currently in communist China, the Internet and television are censored by th
e government. If SJWs had complete control, they’d do the same thing. When Adolf Hitler was in charge of Germany, the Nazi Party took control of the newspapers, radio and film industry. Jazz music and music by Jewish composers was banned. Telling jokes about Hitler could land you in a concentration camp. [125]

  The Left has already started its program of radical censorship. For example, a high school teacher in Washington state called for Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn to be banned for using the n-word. A 2011 edition of the book replaced the word with “slave,” which makes no sense because Jim was no longer in captivity. The new edition also removed the word “Injun.” Judy Blume’s Blubber was banned in Montgomery County, Maryland, for “lack of moral tone.” [126] In Toronto, a patron at the public library tried to get the Dr. Seuss book Hop on Pop banned because it “ encourages children to use violence against their fathers.” Also in Canada, in Vancouver the Dr. Seuss book If I Ran the Zoo was banned from use at storytime and from being promoted in reading lists due to its description of Asians as having “eyes at a slant.” [127] In the summer of 2015, during calls to remove the Confederate flag and Confederate memorials, people started calling for Gone with the Wind to be banned. Shortly after that, the film became the No. 1 selling Blue-ray feature film on Amazon’s U.S. website. [128]

  Unless Trump is elected, the U.S. will turn into a country where it’s illegal to share a negative about anyone that’s on the Left. Conservatives, and especially Christians, will be political prisoners in the country they founded, once the freest country in the world.

  The Greek philosopher Plato, in his book on the perfect state, said, “ One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics, is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” We need honest and smart thinkers to enter the political and social arenas. Future generations (and our own retirement years) will be doomed if more smart, rational don’t get involved.
